Hi, I'm Nishchal— a backend-focused engineer building scalable AI systems and production-grade web platforms. I've shipped 10+ freelance products end-to-end across EVs, architecture, cinema, NGOs and SaaS, and I work best with founders and small teams that care about craft and velocity in equal measure.
A short version
I'm an undergraduate in CSE (AI & ML) at AKGEC, where I'm a branch topper and active in research-leaning coursework. Outside class, I run a freelance practice — I take client engagements end-to-end, from the first call to the production runbook.
My current focus is on real-time AI systems (RAG, voice agents, vector search) and production Next.js platforms with serious back-office requirements — multi-role CRMs, payment-integrated marketplaces, and editable CMS-driven sites.
When I'm not building, I'm grinding DSA (1000+ problems, GFG global rank 99), contributing to GirlScript Summer of Code, or shipping experiments with Pinecone, Groq, and Deepgram.

Ship the first version fast
Real users beat speculation. Get something into someone's hands by week one and learn from there.
Boring is a feature
Reach for proven tools first — Next.js, MongoDB, Razorpay. Save your novelty budget for the parts that are genuinely new.
Degrade gracefully
Especially with AI. Text stays authoritative; voice / extras are bonuses. Users never deadlock waiting on the optional layer.
Optimise for handoff
I work to make myself unnecessary. The codebase, docs, and admin CMS should outlive my engagement.
